Our History

From a spark ignited by missionary Lydia Dowdye in the early 1900s, PAWI Barbados has grown into a vibrant, Spirit-led movement, planting churches, transforming communities, and spreading the Pentecostal flame across the island and beyond for over

100 years.

Statement of Faith

A declaration of faith affirming the authority of Scripture, the triune nature of God, the redemptive work of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and our call as believers to holiness, service, and eternal hope through the Church and its mission.
